Match the panel size to your laptop lid so the fold-out screens sit level with your own display: a 13″–14″ ultrabook takes 14″ panels, a standard 15.6″ work laptop takes 15.6″ panels, and 16″ or 17″ machines take 16″ panels. Most models clip tool-free to laptops from 12″ to 17.3″; the S10 and S10-C are sized for 15.6″–17.3″ machines only.
